Mission Statement:

It is the mission of Robert's Automotive to be the absolute best we can be, and to be recognized as a local, family owned company with a small-town atmosphere. We are guided by a relentless focus on setting high standards in sales, service and reliability, while understanding that our future depends on our past. We believe loyalty and respect are earned and create a positive business culture.

At the heart of our vision, is a commitment to constantly improve what is essential to creating a superior value for our customers. We are dedicated to ensuring that you have a sales or service experience that is unique and tailored to you.

With the honesty, integrity and determination that our founder "Dr. Bob" Wilbern instilled in his sons Rob, Mike, and Brian, we have evolved into a business Springfield and the surrounding area can be proud of. Since our beginning, we have strived to enhance our reputation through dedication, professionalism, and an unwavering belief that we should expect to be a credit to the community we serve. How we conduct our business, is how we live our lives.

In July 1992, Dr. Bob created Robert's Automotive located at First and Ash Streets. He then moved the business to the South Sixth Street location. After roughly 10 years at each location, it was decided that the dealership expand and be moved to its current location on Wabash Avenue.

Through the years, Robert's Automotive has changed into the reputable dealership it is today. Known for his affinity for cars, particularly Mercedes Benz, Dr. Bob has woven this business into the fabric of our great city. His forethought of combining quality, fairness and dependability while striving for excellence, has been a hallmark, and certainly assured our success. Our strength and our reputation have grown exponentially and we are quietly and consistently making an impact in today's automotive market.
